Gaudy Welsh Pottery

No109 Ross Pattern jug                                 £300

Large extremely rare and very sought after Ross pattern, It is 8 inches high with 7 panels and a 19 inch circumference, with a very ornate handle. Beautiful colours of red gold and blue and in very good condition indeed but for a tiny 1cm line on the inside top, no base marks as mostly the case with Gaudy Welsh  


No94  Sunflower teapot                                    £300

A large early 19 cenury Victorian display tea-pot in the Sunflower pattern, Circa 1840. There are no base marks (not unusual) with Gaudy Welsh and described as a rare pattern in Gaudy Dutch and Welsh, by John A. Shuman. Approximate size 11x6x7 inches and in the most remakable condition, Must be described as perfect.

Jug hand painted on unglazed pottery in quite a rare pattern,  no chips or cracks anywhere,  probably made at the Swansea pottery by the handle shape, 18cm high 8 panels

Original Sunflower with a snake handle jug ref page 163 Gaudy Dutch and Welsh circa 1850 no base marks, in excellent condition only very fine glazing 16cm


No 44 Antique Hudra jug                        £90

Zachariah Boyle jug with a snake handle and decorated with a Japan pattern circa 1823-1847. Impressed Boyle on the base with a hight of 17cm, in good condition with just a few very tiny rough edges,
